Basic information

1. White powder, soft, odorless and tasteless white powder, strong covering power and coloring power, melting point 1560 ~ 1580℃.
2. Insoluble in water, dilute inorganic acid, organic solvent, oil, slightly soluble in alkali, soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid. It turns yellow when heated and turns white when cooled. Rutile type (R type) has a density of 4.26g/cm3 and a refractive index of 2.72.
3. R-type titanium dioxide has the characteristics of good weather resistance, water resistance and not easy to yellowing, but the whiteness is slightly worse. Anatase (Type A) has a density of 3.84g/cm3 and a refractive index of 2.55.
4. Type A titanium dioxide has poor light resistance and is not resistant to weathering, but the whiteness is better. In recent years, it has been found that nano-scale ultra-fine titanium dioxide (usually 10 ~ 50 nm) has semiconductor properties, and has high stability, high transparency, high activity and high dispersion, no toxicity and color effect.

1. Used as a spectral analysis reagent, preparation of high purity titanium salt, pigment, polyethylene coloring agent, abrasive agent. It is also used in the pharmaceutical industry, capacitive media, high temperature resistant alloys, and high temperature resistant titanium sponge.
2. Used for the production of titanium dioxide, titanium sponge, titanium alloy, artificial rutile, titanium tetrachloride, titanium oxide sulfate, potassium fluotitanate, aluminum titanium chloride, etc. Titanium dioxide can be used to make high-grade white paint, white rubber, synthetic fibers, coatings, welding rods and lightening agents for rayon, plastics and high-grade paper fillers
3. Also used in telecommunications equipment, metallurgy, printing, dyeing, enamel and other departments. Rutile is also the main mineral raw material for titanium extraction.
4. 2. Rutile mineral products shall not be mixed with foreign debris in the process of packaging and storage. The packing bag materials are corrosion resistant and not easily damaged. The storage of mineral products should be stacked in different grades, not mixed grades, and the storage site should be clean.


Precautions and Transportation

Transportation precautions: Close operation and strengthen ventilation. Operators must undergo specialized training and strictly adhere to operating procedures. It is recommended that operators wear self-priming filter type dust masks to avoid generating dust. When handling, it is important to load and unload with care to prevent damage to the packaging and containers.

Storage precautions: Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. The packaging container must be sealed to prevent moisture. Separate from deliquescent items.
